Φωτογραφική συλλογή για την Θεσσαλονίκη

Σίγουρα μου αρέσει να ταξιδεύω, μα σαν το σπίτι σου δεν υπάρχει !!!

Thessaloniki (Greek: Θεσσαλονίκη), historically also known as Thessalonica, Salonika or Salonica, is the second-largest city in Greece and the capital of the region of Central Macedonia as well as the capital of the Decentralized Administration of Macedonia and Thrace. Its honorific title is Συμπρωτεύουσα (Symprotévusa), literally "co-capital", and stands as a reference to its historical status as the Συμβασιλεύουσα (Symvasilévousa), "co-reigning" city of the Byzantine Empire, alongside Constantinople.

Alexander the Great & Bucephalus
In 1974 was erected on very waterfront of Thessaloniki, near another town's landmark - White Tower - equestrian statue of Alexander the Great on his famous horse Bucephalus. Author of the statue is Greek sculptor Vangelis Moustakas. Alexander the Great was born in 356 B.C. in Pella, Macedonia in Greece and info some people tend to forget ;)

The Agora (Ancient Greek: Ἀγορά, Agorá) was a central spot in ancient Greek city-states. The literal meaning of the word is "Gathering place" or "Assembly". The agora was the center of athletic, artistic, spiritual and political life of the city

Info A weekend in Thessaloniki- This beautiful city is Greece’s 2nd largest, located in the north. Thessaloniki had everything I could ever dream of- fashion, water, night life, delicious gyros, pastry shops on every corner, and beautiful ruins.
